Halloween celebration at Tropicana Atlantic City

Tropicana Atlantic City Casino & Resort serves up a creepy concoction of Halloween fun at its Ultimate Halloween Celebration on Saturday, 27 October. The celebration includes a Halloween-themed light and sound show, The Rocky Horror Picture Show “Time Warp” dance on the Boardwalk, giveaways, costume, contest prizes, and food, drink and shopping specials. Other mysterious surprises lurk throughout The Quarter and beyond. The festivities begin at 7:30 p.m. on the Boardwalk and continue inside the resort from 9 p.m. until well past the witching hour.

Hosted by SoJO 104.9’s Heather DeLuca and JV Joe, this Halloween extravaganza begins at 7:30 p.m. on the Boardwalk in front of Tropicana where a spooktacular light and sound show will set the mood. At 8 p.m. jump to the left with the Boogie Nights cast, and let the madness begin as they go from spooky to kooky and rock out to The Rocky Horror Picture Show cult classic “Time Warp.”

Costume Contest in The Quarter, 9 p.m. - 10 p.m.
For those who join the party early, DJ Nate, of Center Stage Entertainment, will play Halloween favorites beginning at 7 p.m. Guests are invited to participate in Tropicana’s Annual Halloween Costume Contest, which kicks off at 9 p.m. in The Quarter’s Fiesta Plaza. The Best Overall Costume wins a $500 Tropicana gift card. The Scariest Costume wins an overnight stay with gourmet dinner for two and IMAX tickets. The winners of the Best Group Costume category each get a $50 Tropicana gift card (up to five members.) Leno’s late night television ratings domination included two decades as the host of the #1-rated “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” He currently produces and is host of the CNBC Television series “JAY LENO’S GARAGE” now in its third season.

When he’s not on television or doing stand-up comedy, Leno participates in numerous charity and corporate events, does voice-overs for animated series, pens children’s books, and writes a monthly column in various automotive magazines.

On 10 April, Tropicana Atlantic City Casino & Resort held its annual Employee Awards Gala to recognize and celebrate the hard-working and dedicated staff and employees that contribute to Tropicana’s success. The Employee Gala was held in Tropicana’s Ballroom where guests gathered for cocktails, dinner, live entertainment and an awards presentation.

Tropicana Atlantic City to host indoor Beach Bash

Warm sunny days at the shore are nowhere near in sight, but Beach Bash at Tropicana Atlantic City Casino & Resort is just around the corner heating things up with a 48-day celebration of indoor summer fun. 12 January through 28 February – Beat the winter blues with summer-themed displays including a giant sand sculpture at Palm Walk, a free concert featuring Mark Diomede & The Juggling Suns Project, Tropicana’s Jersey Shore Wine Festival plus retail, dining and nightlife specials throughout the property.

Beach Bash Kickoff – 12 January

Mayweather vs. McGregor to be broadcasted live from Tropicana Atlantic City

Three-time national golden glove winner, Floyd Mayweather, has proven to be one of the best fighters of all time since he entered the professional boxing world in 1996. Since 1996, Mayweather has won world titles in five weight classes and has defeated professional icons such as Manny Pacquiao, Juan Manuel Marquez, Oscar De La Hoya and Genaro Hernandez. Following an astounding career, "Money" Mayweather made the decision to retire in 2015, but is returning to the ring Saturday, 26 August for one of the most anticipated fights of all time: Mayweather vs. McGregor.

The 28-year-old "Irishman," Conor McGregor, who has never fought professionally, is making his professional boxing debut against Floyd Mayweather. According to UFC.com, Conor McGregor is "100% positive that he wins this fight." McGregor has been widely recognized over the past four years as incredibly competitive and willing to fight anyone. Tropicana Atlantic City presents Halloween costume contest

Is funny to go to Tropicana Atlantic City Casino & Resort's Ultimate Halloween Thriller Dance on the Boardwalk and Annual Costume Contest on 28 October for a spooktacular celebration.

Hosted by Joe Kelly, this trick-or-treat extravaganza begins at 7:30 p.m. on the Boardwalk in front of Tropicana where a featured Halloween-themed light and sound show will set the mood.

At 8 p.m., the Boogie Nights cast including a Michael Jackson impersonator will re-enact the famous dance from Michael Jackson's Thriller video. The first one hundred dancers to register will receive a trick-or-treat bag. Whether there is a "trick" or a "treat" inside is left up to chance. Twenty-five "treats" are up for grabs including a $250 Tropicana gift card, a complimentary overnight stay, dinner at Il Verdi, a VIP booth at Boogie Nights and much more. However, everyone is lucky enough to walk away with candy and some Tropicana logoed items.

Finally, the stakes will be their highest at Tropicana's Annual Halloween Costume Contest with over $1,000 in prizes up for grabs. The contest kicks off at 9 p.m. in The Quarter's Fiesta Plaza.

Tropicana Atlantic City Casino & Resort will hold its first annual Winter Wine Festival in the Grand Exhibition Center on Saturday, Feb. 27 from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday, Feb. 28 from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.

While sampling, guests will enjoy artisan crafters, hand-painted glass and live entertainment. Tickets will include tasting glass, wine seminars, cheese and fruit plate.

Tropicana's Winter Wine Festival will showcase over 150 of New Jersey's best known wines and 12 winemakers, including Bellview Winery, DiMatteo Vineyard, Monroeville Vineyard, Plagido's Winery, Renault Winery, Salem Oak Vineyards, Sharrott Winery, Tomasello Winery, Valenzano Winery, Wagonhouse Winery and Villari Vineyards. Each winery will have bottles and cases available for purchase.

Festival-goers will have the option of attending educational seminars with wine experts including Phillip Silverstone, TV and radio wine commentator, author and columnist and John Mahoney, wine educator and author.
