Warm sunny days at the shore are nowhere near in sight, but Beach Bash at Tropicana Atlantic City Casino & Resort is just around the corner heating things up with a 48-day celebration of indoor summer fun. 12 January through 28 February – Beat the winter blues with summer-themed displays including a giant sand sculpture at Palm Walk, a free concert featuring Mark Diomede & The Juggling Suns Project, Tropicana’s Jersey Shore Wine Festival plus retail, dining and nightlife specials throughout the property.
Beach Bash Kickoff – 12 January
Beach Bash kicks off Friday, 12 January at Tropicana Atlantic City’s Palm Walk at 1 p.m. with summer-themed entertainment including a game of corn hole – representatives from the Boys and Girls Club of Atlantic City will face off against Tropicana Atlantic City executives. The winner will earn bragging rights. At the conclusion of the game, Tropicana Atlantic City will present the local non-profit youth organization with a donation to support its mission to “provide resources for the development of young people, from all backgrounds - to realize their full potential as responsible & caring adults.” No beach bash is complete without summer staples and Boardwalk favorites – Guests will enjoy free hot dogs, popcorn, Salt Water Taffy plus souvenirs. This event is free and open to the public.
Free Concert Featuring Mark Diomede & The Juggling Suns Project – 10 February
Saturday, 10 February at 8 p.m., celebrate Hippie Fest with a free concert starring Mark Diomede & The Juggling Suns Project at Tropicana Atlantic City’s Grand Exhibition Center. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. This event is free and open to the public. Must be 21 to attend.
After the free concert, keep the good vibes going at Boogie Nights. Guests dressed in hippie attire will receive $5 off admission and may enter Boogie Nights’ costume contest at midnight to win free admission and a VIP booth. This prize may only be redeemed on a future visit. Arrive early for Flower Power Hour (9 – 10 p.m.) and enjoy $6 cocktail specials garnished with edible flowers.

Sample over 150 of New Jersey’s finest wines available for purchase by the bottle or case. Tropicana’s Jersey Shore Wine Festival features artisan crafters, hand-painted glass, live entertainment and educational wine seminars. The festival takes place at the Grand Exhibition Center Saturday, 24 February (2 p.m. – 8 p.m.) and Sunday, 25 February (12 p.m. – 5 p.m.). Admission includes a tasting glass, participation in educational wine seminars, cheese and fruit plate. Tickets, $25 in advance and $30 at the door, will be available for purchase at the Tropicana Box Office and on Ticketmaster at ticketmaster.com. Must be 21 to attend.
