ACR Poker’s biggest Mystery Bounty and PLO tourneys to date have ended on a high note, delivering big poker action and surpassing guarantees to award a combined total of more than $10 million.

Boasting a huge $8 million guarantee, the Mystery Bounty Venom attracted an incredible 3,234 entries, boosting the total prize pool to $8,085,000. The tourney concluded with 30-year-old poker pro Ivan ‘chickenpastry’ Limeira from Brazil winning the coveted title and a total payout of $617,333. The champion eliminated 'im_so_sh0rt’ from Hungary, winning a life-changing prize of $572,333 plus a $45,000 bounty.

Reflecting on his win, Limeira said: “I’m so grateful and relieved that all the hard work actually paid off. I always dreamt of winning big prizes and actually realizing this dream felt so good.”

ACR Poker unleashes biggest Venom tournament

American poker players who like big poker and big action should clear their calendars for ACR Poker's biggest tournament ever this spring. The popular online Venom tourney is back with a $12.5 million guaranteed prize pool, the largest in the Venom's five-year history, and $2.5 Million larger than last year's guarantee.

Running from 14 April to 1 May 2024, the $12.5 Million guaranteed Venom tournament represents the biggest online poker tournament the US has seen in almost 15 years. Sunday, 14 April will be the first of five Day 1 options. Day 2 will be on Monday, 29 April, followed by Day 3 on Tuesday, 30 April. The epic conclusion unfolds at the Final Table on Wednesday, 1 May, which will be live-streamed on ACR Poker's Twitch channel with commentary from Justin Kelly and a host of other poker guests.

The champion of the Venom's 5th Anniversary tournament is guaranteed at least $1 Million, marking a milestone event that is anticipated to create at least three millionaires this year, and offering aspiring players the chance to follow in the footsteps of last year's winner Brandon Lulov 'S3L3NAGOM3ZZ'. The U.S. poker pro triumphed over a 3,522 strong field to win the $1,577,970 top prize, navigating through a Final Table that featured notable players like ACR Pro John Van Fleet 'Apestyles' and high-stakes pro Chris Hunichen '2Rich2Care'.

ACR Poker's $5 Million Venom PKO returns

Poker players whose New Year's Resolution was to win a lot of money are heading to ACR Poker. The popular worldwide poker site is returning its $5 Million GTD Venom PKO tourney starting Thursday, 18 January.

"Our Venom PKO is well known as the biggest Progressive Knockout tourney in online poker," stated ACR Pro Chris Moneymaker. "It has beaten its $5 Million guarantee in all seven previous editions, and we expect it to happen again."

In the Venom PKO, players take part in some of the biggest hands of their life with single bounties worth tens of thousands of dollars. It last ran just a few months ago in October, with the winner pocketing $371,000 plus a whopping $312,000 in bounty money.

The $5 Million Venom PKO costs $2,650 to get into, but players can qualify for far less via Venom Fever. Those satellites are guaranteeing 650 seats, with direct buy-ins beginning at $33 and Mega Satellites that start at $0 by following the daily path. There are also other ways to qualify like Step Tournaments which start at 11 cents.

Moneymaker went on to note that the popular Venom Holdem tourney, which typically comes with a $10 Million guarantee, will return in the next few months.
