Juegos Miami registration up by more than 40%

Juegos Miami, the bespoke event created to meet the business needs of the Pan Latin American and Caribbean gaming sectors, has captured the attention of the industry with registration of Director and C-Level delegates up by an impressive 42% year-over-year. The figures, which are the latest from organizers Clarion Gaming, have been released two months ahead of Juegos Miami opening at The Biltmore Hotel, Miami, 30 May – 1 June.

Clarion Gaming's Greg Saint, Event Director and responsible for Juegos Miami, said, "It's very encouraging to be able to report such strong figures two months ahead of us opening in Miami. I should stress that the Juegos Miami delegate profile is among the most senior that we have attending across our entire portfolio of events anywhere in the world. The fantastic response underlines its status as the region's most influential gaming networking opportunity. As Event Director, I'm also delighted to confirm the lineup of exhibitors and sponsors continues to grow, reflecting the continued interest that exists in what is one of the most exciting and dynamic emerging markets in the world. Our list of blue chip commercial supporters includes Ainsworth Game Technology, Betradar, BetConstruct, Cashbet, Everi Games, Merkur Gaming, Play'n GO and Scientific Games."

The event, which is in its third year, will provide delegates with an unrivaled opportunity to engage with the region's key decision makers courtesy of a series of country specific roundtables. The initiative will bring together regulators from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Paraguay, Peru and Uruguay who will provide expert insight and the very latest updates on their jurisdictions, including current thinking, market dynamics, issues of regulatory concern and the likely timetable for change. Each roundtable will be chaired by a senior regulator or government official.

Angelo Dalli to discuss lottery opportunity at Juegos Miami

A strong lottery product is vital for any operator looking to capitalize on the opportunities presented by emerging markets in Latin America and the Caribbean, Bit8 CEO Angelo Dalli will tell delegates at the Juegos Miami conference next week.

Speaking at the gathering of leading operators and service providers in the region, Dalli will outline the scale of the opportunity in the vertical and what needs to be done to best exploit it.

He will argue that any gaming operator wanting to make an impact will need a strong lottery product, as well as a flexible platform which can cope with the specific jurisdictional demands.

And he will also add that ever-changing regulation in the sector presents a number of challenges which need to be overcome by both cooperation and innovation within private rather than state-run enterprise.

Dr. Dalli said: “I am excited at being given the opportunity to address industry delegates at Juegos Miami and am looking forward to sharing my views on the importance of flexibility in any successful lottery product.

“There has never been a better time to add lottery to your offering if you’re a gaming operator and, with opportunities opening up in many of its countries, there has never been a better time to take a stake in the Latin American market.

“The Bit8 platform is agile enough to integrate lottery products seamlessly, providing a major boost to acquisition, retention and cross-sell, and I am keen to show operators how it can help boost their revenue streams.”
