ICE announces strategic investment in Polymarket

(PRESS RELEASE) – Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. (ICE), a leading global provider of technology and data, today announced a strategic investment in Polymarket, the prediction market platform that tracks event probabilities across markets, politics, sports, and culture.

Investment Details

Under the agreement, ICE will invest up to $2 billion in Polymarket, valuing the platform at approximately $8 billion pre-investment.

In addition to the investment, ICE will become a global distributor of Polymarket’s event-driven data, providing clients with sentiment indicators on market-relevant topics. ICE and Polymarket also plan to collaborate on future tokenization initiatives.
