Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board Cracks Down: 16 Players Banned for Unlawful Conduct

In a move underscoring Pennsylvania’s commitment to responsible gaming, the Gaming Control Board (PGCB) has added 16 individuals to its Involuntary Exclusion List. This list, a key regulatory tool, is used to ban individuals who engage in illegal or harmful conduct within state-licensed casinos.

Reasons for exclusion range from fraud and money laundering to repeated attempts to bypass self-exclusion restrictions. In one striking case, a man used false documents to secure credit lines, accruing massive unpaid debts.

Those listed have the right to a hearing, but once banned, re-entry into casinos is strictly prohibited and may lead to arrest. The PGCB emphasized that these actions help maintain public trust and ensure that casinos remain crime-free environments.

The move aligns with a nationwide push for stricter gambling oversight, bolstered by collaboration with law enforcement and the adoption of advanced surveillance and biometric systems.
