Ohio casino revenue up in December

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Ohio casinos had a healthy month in December, according to Cleveland.com

Revenue figures from the Ohio Casino Control Commission indicate all properties revenue increased compared to November, the report said.

Horseshoe Casino Cleveland was particularly robust with a 14.5 percent rise beside November's numbers, Cleveland.com reported.

Ohio revenue down in November

OHIO -- Ohio casinos saw a decline in revenue last month, according to the Columbus Dispatch. Revenue fell 8.8 percent for Scioto Downs racino and 4.1 percent at Hollywood Casino Columbus compared to November 2013, the report said. Overall revenue decreased 10 percent for Ohio's four casinos, according to Columbus Dispatch report.

January revenue down for Ohio's casinos

OHIO - Ohio's casinos saw their revenue fall during January, The Columbus Dispatch reported.

The main culprit for the dash to revenue was the weather, the report said.

Between January 5-7th time period, two of Ohio's casinos had to close at different points due to extreme weather conditions, according to The Columbus Dispatch report.
