More Platinum Passes up for grabs with PokerStars

With the PokerStars Players No-Limit Hold’em Championship on the horizon, several live events are set to take place around the U.S. in the upcoming months, where players will have the opportunity to compete for a Platinum Pass to January’s epic event.

Hot on the heels of the Road to PSPC Maryland event that kicked off on 29 September at Live! Casino & Hotel Maryland, PokerStars is thrilled to be introducing more stops on the schedule, with three events across Pennsylvania coming this October:

- October 8-9 Women’s Event at Live! Casino & Hotel Philadelphia, PA ($200 buy-in)
- October 13-16 Live! Casino & Hotel Philadelphia, PA ($360 buy-in)/$200k Main Event GTD
- October 27-30 Live! Casino Pittsburgh - Greensburg, PA ($360 buy-in)

Each event will have a coveted Platinum Pass on the line, worth $30,000, that includes:

- Buy-in to the $25,000 PSPC
- Six nights hotel accommodation for winner and a guest in a 5-star hotel
- Airport transfer
- $1,900 in expenses
- Platinum Pass Winner experiences during the event

First up in Philadelphia is the $200 buy-in Women’s Event, running for two days over October 8 and 9 at Live! Casino & Hotel Philadelphia, where female players can enter for a chance to win cash prizes and ultimately compete for the top prize of a Platinum Pass.

All players can also have their shot at winning a Platinum Pass in Pennsylvania’s additional two Road to PSPC stops both with a buy-in of $360.

The Road to PSPC event at Live! Casino Philadelphia will see four days of action take place from October 13-16, where the community can play their hand for a shot at not only a Platinum Pass but also for a portion of the Main Event prize pool, boasting a guarantee of $200k.

Following that, the Road to PSPC action will be heading to Live! Casino Pittsburgh from 27-30 October where U.S. players can have their shot at yet another Platinum Pass package to the Bahamas.

It’s not just live where players can have the opportunity to represent their country in the Bahamas.
Earlier this week in Michigan, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey the leader board of the most prestigious and longest-running tournament series in online poker, the Championship of Online Poker (COOP), saw the top 500 players in Philadelphia (PA), the top 300 in Michigan (MI) and the top 200 in New Jersey (NJ) be entered into a freeroll for a chance to earn a Platinum Pass to the PSPC in the Bahamas.

The top two winners of each free roll were awarded a coveted Platinum Pass, with six presented in total:

- Barrett Lipkin (PA)
- Joseph Nicholas (PA)
- Scott Brown (MI)
- Jason Brown (MI)
- Ramon Liriano (NJ)
- Corey Hersch (NJ)

The action doesn’t stop there, with an October freeroll on the horizon, following the same top player freeroll format as September’s leader board, where one player from each state will soon join the ranks as one of the big U.S. winners heading to the Bahamas in January 2023.
