The Cosmopolitan holds successful veteran's career fair

On 31 August, The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas partnered with 50 top employers from across Southern Nevada to host Supporting Our Veterans Career Fair at the resort.

The first veteran hiring event of its kind, The Cosmopolitan opened its doors to a variety of businesses and industries in an effort to assist veterans and military families with employment. The event, open to veterans, active military and military spouses, gave more than 350 job seekers from all military branches with various skill sets the opportunity to explore employment options and speak with hiring managers. Event highlights included a photo booth for job seekers to upload photos to their LinkedIn account as well as patriotic cookies and 'mocktails' created by the resort's Chef Mixologist Mariena Mercer.

The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas continues to actively support the veteran and active military community. Earlier this month, the resort was awarded the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) Seven Seals Award, which recognizes the support of the men and women who serve America in the National Guard and Reserve.
