Triple 9 poker tournaments at Intertops Poker this week

This week, Intertops Poker is hosting nine poker tournaments, each with a $999 prize pool. Buy-in is $29, there are nine-minute blinds, players start with 999 chips and the maximum re-entries is, of course, nine.

Triple 9 tournaments start this afternoon and continue until May 27th.

The number 999 is thought to mean completion. 9 is the last single digit, so seeing this number everywhere may suggest something is ending or will be completed soon.

Intertops Poker online satellite winner heading to European Poker Championship Main Event

There’s going to be another online satellite winner from Intertops Poker and Juicy Stakes Casino in the Main Event at the Poker EM European Poker Championship in Velden, Austria this summer. Another round of online satellites concludes 19 May 19. The winner will get a $6,500 prize package and join other satellite winners in the Austrian summer hotspot, Velden am Wörthersee, in July.

Daily satellites start Thursday, 9 May.

The $6,500 prize package includes €2,700 buy-in to the main event (24-27 July), five nights at a premium hotel, some cash to help with travel expenses and a welcome dinner with the Intertops Poker and Juicy Stakes Casino team.

Intertops Poker hosts SOFT Series

Next week, Intertops Poker starts its first SOFT Series – 20 poker tournaments designed especially for recreational and casual players, awarding a total of $24,850 in prize money. The series kicks off with two $500 free rolls on Monday and culminates in the Champions Tournament on 25 November where a $4,100 prize package for the WSOPC in sunny St. Maarten will be awarded.

“We run a lot of higher stakes tournaments for our more hardcore players,” said Intertops’ poker manager. “But since our network is generally pretty soft, we created this series to give less competitive players a shot at winning.”
