Henderson, December 9, 2025 – Green Valley Ranch Resort, Spa and Casino will mark the return of poker to the Henderson community with the opening of its all-new Poker Room on Thursday, December 18. Located in its original position on the casino floor, the newly redesigned room will feature 15 new tables, upgraded audio and visual systems, and 24/7 operations, offering guests a modern and welcoming poker experience.
The Poker Room will open to the public at 11:00 a.m. and will debut with a 24/7 Mystery High Hand Promotion, running from Thursday, December 18 through Thursday, January 1. The promotion will award prizes ranging from $50 to $500 every thirty minutes. All high-hand winners will also be entered into a $5,000 drawing scheduled for January 1 at 12:00 p.m.
Players will be able to choose from a wide selection of games, including 4/8 and 8/16 Limit Hold’em; 1/2, 2/3, and 3/5 No Limit Hold’em; Time Rake Hold’em games; Pot Limit Omaha; and 4/8, 6/12, and 8/16 Omaha Hi/Lo, with additional game offerings to be introduced in the future.
The opening of the Poker Room is part of Green Valley Ranch’s ongoing multi-phase $200 million renovation project, which includes upgrades to rooms, suites, and meeting and convention spaces. Recent enhancements include the renovated West Tower rooms, new High Limit Slot and Table Games areas, the Polaris casino bar, Blue Ribbon Sushi Bar & Grill, and the DROP Bar. Guests can also look forward to newly renovated Regal Theaters, the arrival of Nielsen’s Frozen Custard, and further developments across the resort.
