A revitalized era of European live poker events is here with the launch of PokerStars Open, a brand-new poker series that will bring existing national tour events across Europe together under one banner for 2025.
The new PokerStars Open will carry forward elements of former UKIPT, EUREKA, ESTRELLAS and FPS events that players know and love, combining them with PokerStars’ industry-leading event organization to create unmissable poker festivals across some of Europe’s most vibrant destinations – offering big guarantees, accessible buy-ins, packed schedules, and a whole lot of mischief off the tables.
Each festival will be headed by a €1,100/£1,100 Open Main Event with a 1M GTD (€/£) and will be supported by a large schedule delivering the world-renowned level of PokerStars live event experiences.
The PokerStars Open will comprise of six standalone stops, including three brand new locations, and two Open Main Events at EPT Monte Carlo and EPT Barcelona. Held at established partner casinos, players will be able to enjoy the full PokerStars experience throughout the year with highlights including industry-leading dealers and staff, seamless registration processes, unmissable player activities and a detailed Live app giving players the ability to track and view tournament data efficiently.
POKERSTARS OPEN SCHEDULE, FEATURING THREE NEW STOPS: CAMPIONE, MANCHESTER, CANNES
Kicking off PokerStars’ 2025 live events schedule will be PokerStars Open Campione running from 10-16 March 2025 at PokerStars’ brand-new Casinò di Campione poker room - a picturesque location on the shores of Lake Lugano in Como, in the heart of Italy’s Lombardy region.
Each stop will feature a wide range of online satellites, offering more players the chance to qualify, with Campione satellites starting on 19 December. To find out more information on qualifying routes, players can visit the PokerStars client.

NEW: Campione: 10-16 March 2025
- A brand-new stop and the first for 2025, PokerStars Open Campione will take place in PokerStars’ brand-new Casino Municipale poker room, a luxurious location on the shores of Lake Lugano that will be home to seven days of action on and off the felt. With a top-quality, iconic live stream broadcast, players can tune in to follow the event on all PokerStars streaming platforms.
Irish Open: 10-21 April 2025
- This iconic stop returns to the Royal Dublin Society for 12 days of big guarantees, varied formats and cash games all in a historic city with legendary craic. Not one to be missed, the Irish Poker Open oozes fun and incredible poker.
Namur: 28 May – 09 June 2025
- PokerStars returns to this historic city and well-loved stop at Circus Casino Resort with a huge 1 million guarantee, world-class dealers and the PS Live System.
Malaga: 16-22 June 2025
- This popular, sun-drenched stop will be bigger and better for 2025 with more tables for increased capacity, and even more off the felt entertainment for players to enjoy at Gran Madrid Casino Torrequebrada.
NEW: Manchester: 20-26 October 2025
- A new stop for 2025, Manchester is a central hub within the UK and directly accessible from across Europe and further afield. The poker combined with the music and sports heritage of one of the UK’s coolest cities make this an unmissable stop on the calendar. A central venue in the heart of the city, Casino Manchester235 is the place to be next October for some unmissable PokerStars action.
NEW: Cannes: 8-14 December 2025
- Taking place at Casino Barriere Le Croisette, the final stop of 2025 will bring the PokerStars Open to a glamorous close, complete with world class VIP hospitality and plans to celebrate all the best moments of the year.
