PokerStars signs Koon and Comeskey as ambassadors

PokerStars is proud to announce that High Roller legend Jason Koon and the 2023 GPI Awards Content Creator of the Year, Caitlin Comeskey, have joined PokerStars Team Pro. Koon and Comeskey will represent PokerStars in North America and on the global stage. These signings reflect PokerStars’ commitment to putting ambition, aspiration, and fun into the game across its live and online offerings.

Jason Koon needs little introduction as one of the all-time great poker players. The American sits fourth on the all-time money list with $58m in live tournament winnings with an incredible 14 seven-figure scores (and a further 93 six-figure live cashes). Koon has also been a longtime crusher at the online tables, winning SCOOP, Super Tuesday, Sunday 500 and Sunday Warm-Up events at PokerStars back in the day.

“I started my poker journey playing at PokerStars and it’s always had a special place in my heart. I’m looking forward to bringing the PokerStars experience to players here in the US and across the world,” said Koon.

Caitlin Comeskey is one of the freshest creators on the poker content scene. She is the host of the AceHoles podcast along with Nikki Limo, who was one of the Loose Cannons in Season 1 of the revamped Big Game on Tour. Her funny, sharp, and offbeat style earned her Best Short Form Content Creator at the 2023 Global Poker Awards. “I strongly believe that FUN is the beating heart of our poker economy,” said Comeskey.

“Pokers Stars is committed to producing fun, quality poker entertainment — such as BGOT - and it’s humbling & thrilling to join the squad. I feel like I’m a part of something special & I can’t wait to share more of what we do with our community” Steve Preiss, PokerStars Director of North America, said: “PokerStars has always been, and continues to be, about the biggest names in poker, and the best in poker entertainment. Jason and Caitlin bring relevance, authenticity, expertise and humor, and their addition to the PokerStars team reinforces our commitment to bringing poker back to the big stage.”
