888 launches US interstate poker network across three states

888, one of the world’s most popular online gaming companies and solutions providers, is pleased to announce the successful launch of its unique interstate poker network. The ground-breaking launch on 1 May means that poker players across all three regulated U.S. states — Nevada, Delaware and now New Jersey — are able to enjoy cash games and tournaments and compete with each other for the very first time. Nevada and Delaware have been sharing poker player liquidity across the 888 Poker interstate network since March 2015.

888’s partners in the U.S. are Caesars with WSOP, The Delaware Lottery and the All American Poker Network. This interstate network across all three regulated U.S. states allows for the pooling of players on one single platform. This enables more customers to enjoy the poker formats and tournaments that they want, when they want.

The interstate network launched with a host of new exciting tournaments and prizes, featuring a guaranteed weekly US$100k Sunday Tournament on offer to players across each of the states.

Itai Frieberger, CEO of 888 Holdings, commented, “The launch of the 888-powered interstate poker network is another significant milestone for the U.S. iGaming market. Poker players across all three regulated states can compete with each other through the 888 unique proprietary platform.

This is great news for customers and our partners and further demonstrates 888’s commitment and unique position in the regulated U.S. online iGaming market. I would like to take this opportunity and thank the Nevada, Delaware and New Jersey regulators for initiating and supporting this effort, and hope to see additional states come aboard our poker network soon.”
