Nominations open for 2018 Women in Poker Hall of Fame

The Women in Poker Hall of Fame (WiPHoF) has opened nominations for the Class of 2018 inductions. Nominations will remain open until 15 March 2018.

Candidates MUST meet the following requirements for nomination into the WiPHoF:
A candidate must have been active as a player or industry leader for a minimum of 10 years prior to election and 35 years of age or older.

Player/industry leader must have contributed to the world of poker in some significant way. This person can qualify by either winning major poker tournaments or by making significant contributions to the industry of poker.

Player/industry leader must be a proponent of women in poker.

All nominees must be approved by a committee of the Board of Directors and the Inductees.

Nominees must agree to terms & conditions of the Women in Poker Hall of Fame.

After careful screening by the WiPHoF Nominations Committee and current members of the Hall of Fame, qualified candidates are placed on the ballot.

Voting will begin on 2 April 2018 by the current members of the Women in Poker Hall of Fame and selected poker media industry members. Each voting member will receive 10 votes. They may cast them however they wish.

The Women in Poker Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony & Luncheon will be held Tuesday, 26 June at 11 a.m. at The Orleans in Las Vegas.
