Americas Cardroom wrapped up its popular OSS Cub3d last night with the final events in the Bigger Online Super Series (BOSS), the third leg of its three-part online poker tournament series. The biggest event in the high-roller series, a $750,000 guaranteed tournament, paid out $954,000 in prize money.
"With absolutely no overlays, plus guarantee-busting prize pools across the board, the OSS Cub3d was our most successful tournament series to date," stated Michael Harris, spokesperson for Americas Cardroom. "In all, we neared the $8 million mark in total prize pools, and we have our growing community to thank. Congrats to everyone who walked away a winner."
The BOSS guaranteed $2,010,000 in prize money over the course of five days, ultimately doling out $2,562,350. Chief among the guarantee-beaters was the $750,000 guaranteed Main Event, which saw 477 players fuel the prize pool to $954,000. Online poker player "Imgrinding" took first place to secure $186,030.
