The Dover Downs Hotel & Casino's Poker Room hosted the 6th Annual Delaware Poker Championship over Labor Day weekend. There were 243 players and a total prize pool of over $121,000.
The final table consisted of ten players, three of whom chopped the remaining $54,066 prize pool, each taking home over $18,000. Lawrence Larabee Jr., from Ahoskie, NC had the most chips therefore went home with the biggest trophy. The other two winners were Alexander Hough from Baltimore, MD and Anthony Hayward from Bishopville, MD.
Three times is the charm for Larabee, who is a regular player in the tournament. In 2014 he finished 10th in 2015 he finished 4th.
