MGM proposes Atlanta casino

ATLANTA -- In response to legislation before the Georgia State Legislature MGM Resorts is funding lobbyists and proposing a downtown casino, according to a Republic Intern report.

The legislation would permit six casinos, the report said.

The bill will require the support of two thirds of the House, The Republican Intern reported.
