Rivers Casino propose $50 million hotel

PITTSBURGH -- The Rivers Casino has revealed a plan to build a $50 million hotel, the Pittsburgh Gazette reported.

The information was submitted to the state gaming control board during the process to renew the casino's license, the report said.

The casino said the hotel would create 105 new jobs, however Rivers Casino casino workers are presently trying to unionize and marched around outside the gaming hearing in demonstration, according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
