EPT Prague set to be one of PokerStars' biggest ever live poker festivals

ONCHAN -- The European Poker Tour (EPT) Prague Poker Festival is set to be one of the biggest live events PokerStars has ever held, when it kicks off at the Hilton Prague on December 7, 2014.

Joining forces with the Eureka Poker Tour yet again, this year’s festival will feature 59 separate events including a wide range of new tournament formats. There will be 228 tournament staff working at the event (a PokerStars live event record), more than 140 poker tables, and EPT-run cash games operating around the clock.

EPT President Edgar Stuchly said: “The Prague Poker Festival always attracts a large number of players who play both tournaments and cash games. This year’s festival has potential to be even bigger than last season where both the Eureka and EPT Main Events shattered records.”

Last season’s EPT Prague Poker Festival attracted nearly 9,000 entries generating just under €13 million in prize money.
