Illinois: Casino expansion plan delayed

Rep. Bob Rita D-Blue Island's gambling expansion bill is not dead, rather it is delayed he said, according to the Chicago Sun-Times.

Rep. Rita said the bill is not ready yet but is not shelved, just delayed, the report said.

The legislation would see a state owned Chicago casino permitted, the Chicago Sun-Times said.
